Mouse Test
Test mouse buttons, wheel, double-click and chatter (misfiring clicks) in your browser.
Click every button and roll the wheel inside the box to check that your mouse works. Each part lights up once it has been tested.
Chatter check: click the same button quickly, over and over. If two presses of one button land less than 50ms apart, the switch may be chattering — registering one press as two. Even a fast deliberate double-click is slower than that.
Side buttons: depending on your browser, OS or mouse software, they may not register here, or may still send the page back or forward.

A free online mouse test that runs right in your browser. Press the left, right and middle buttons plus the two side buttons inside the test box and roll the wheel — each part of the on-screen mouse lights up as soon as the input arrives, and a counter shows how many of the five buttons you've covered. To check a mouse that double-clicks on its own, click the same button rapidly many times: the tool times the gap between presses of that button in milliseconds and flags any pair under 50 ms as chatter, the classic sign of a worn switch counting one press twice. It also shows wheel direction and how many wheel inputs arrived. It doesn't measure DPI or polling rate. No download or install needed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do I test my mouse buttons online?
A. Press each button inside the test box: left, right, middle (wheel click) and the two side buttons. Each part of the on-screen mouse lights up when the browser receives it, so a button that never lights up isn't getting through.
Q. How can I tell if my mouse is double-clicking by itself?
A. Click the same button quickly many times. If two presses of that button arrive less than 50 ms apart, the test counts it as chatter — a worn switch registering one press twice. Even a fast deliberate double-click is usually slower than that, so repeated warnings point to the switch.
Q. Does the mouse test measure DPI or polling rate?
A. No. It checks button inputs, the interval between presses, and wheel direction and input count. DPI and polling rate need a dedicated tool or your mouse maker's software.
Q. Why don't my side buttons register?
A. Your browser, OS or mouse software may intercept the back and forward buttons or remap them, so the input never reaches the page, or the page still goes back or forward. Try another browser or check the button settings in your mouse software.
