Observation Test

In a grid of identical emojis, spot the one that's rotated! As you clear stages the grid grows and the tilt gets smaller.

How to Play

  • Press Start to begin stage 1. You get 15 seconds per stage.
  • Every tile shows the same emoji, but one of them is rotated. Tap that one—each wrong tap costs one of your 3 hearts.
  • Every two stages the grid grows (from 3×3 up to 7×7) and the tilt gets smaller. The run ends if a stage’s 15 seconds run out or you lose all 3 hearts.

Observation Test is a quick odd-one-out game: a grid fills with the same emoji, and exactly one copy is rotated. Find it and tap it before the stage timer runs out. Each stage gives you 15 seconds, and clearing it refills the clock for the next one.

The game starts gently—a 3×3 grid where the odd emoji is turned a full quarter turn (90°), so it jumps out at you. Every two stages the grid gains a row and a column, up to 7×7 (49 tiles), and the rotation shrinks by 7° per stage until it bottoms out at just 8°. You have three hearts: a wrong tap costs one, and losing all three ends the run. So does letting a stage’s 15 seconds expire. Your score is the number of stages you clear.

A useful habit is to stop checking tiles one by one and take in the whole grid at once; a tile that leans differently often stands out against the regular pattern. A larger screen and higher brightness make small tilts easier to see. There is nothing to read during play, it is free with no install or sign-up, and your best result goes onto the leaderboard. You can also send a challenge link so friends can try to beat your stage count.
