Mini Games
Shisen-Sho
Tap matching tiles and link them with a line of two turns or fewer before the timer runs out.
How to Play
Tap two matching tiles. They disappear if a line with at most two turns can join them through empty space — the empty border around the board counts too. Each pair adds 1 second; when the timer hits zero, the game ends.

Shisen-Sho — known to many as Mahjong Connect — is a pair-matching puzzle laid out in a single flat layer: pick two identical tiles and they vanish, but only if a line with no more than two turns can join them through empty squares. The name comes from the Chinese province of Sichuan (四川省), yet the game is Japanese, popularized by Hot-B's 1989 release. It is a different genre from Mahjong Solitaire, where you pull free tiles off a stacked pile; here, everything depends on the path.
On Giggleus you tap one tile, then its twin, and the game checks the route for you — up to two turns, through empty squares only. The empty ring around the board counts as open space, so tiles on the outer edge are usually easier to link than those boxed in the middle. Instead of mahjong suits the tiles are fruit, vegetable and other food emoji, so there is nothing to memorize.
Stage 1 deals 24 tiles, and the board grows each stage up to 80 tiles from stage 5. You get 60 seconds on stage 1 and 15 more on each stage after that, and every pair gives 1 second back. A pair is worth 100 × the stage number, and clearing a board adds a bonus of 100 × the stage. From stage 6, the remaining tiles slide in one random direction after every match, so the layout keeps shifting. The game ends when the timer reaches zero, and your best score goes on the ranking.
Each game includes three Shuffles, three Bombs (each clears up to three connectable pairs, 50 points apiece) and three Hints. Tiles are dealt at random, so a board can run out of moves — when that happens, you get a free shuffle and keep playing. A good habit is to clear the boxed-in middle while the edges are still open, and when four copies of an image are showing, take the pair that leaves the other two connectable. Share your score as a challenge link and see if a friend can beat it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How do you play Shisen-Sho?
A. Tap two identical tiles: they disappear if a line with at most two turns can connect them through empty squares, including the empty border around the board.
Q. Is Shisen-Sho the same as Mahjong Solitaire?
A. No. Mahjong Solitaire removes free tiles from a stacked layout, while Shisen-Sho uses one flat layer and only removes pairs joined by a path with two turns or fewer.
Q. How does scoring work in this version?
A. Each pair scores 100 × the stage number, a bomb pair scores 50, and clearing the board adds 100 × the stage. The game ends when time runs out, and your best score is ranked.
Q. What happens when no moves are left?
A. You get a free shuffle and keep playing. You also have three Shuffles, three Bombs and three Hints per game.
