Cat Tarot is a free tarot reading that uses the 22 Major Arcana redrawn as cats. Choose a topic — Overall, Love, Career & Money or Relationships — then pick 3 cards from a shuffled, fanned deck of 22. The cards are read as past, present and future, and each one can land upright or reversed, so the same card reads differently depending on the topic and its orientation. No sign-up, no payment, no app.

How it works: ① choose a topic, ② tap the 3 cards you feel drawn to (or tap "Let the cat pick"), ③ watch the cards flip one by one, ④ read each card's meaning for its position, the key themes of all three cards, and a closing line from the cat. A round takes about a minute. "Draw again" reshuffles in the same topic, and "Pick another category" switches topics. You can also browse all 22 cards with their keywords before you start.

The deck follows the classic Rider-Waite major arcana: The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement and The World.

Treat the reading as a mirror for reflection, not a prediction — drawing Death or The Tower is not a bad omen. Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. How does the cat tarot reading work?

    A. Pick a topic (Overall, Love, Career & Money or Relationships), then choose 3 cards from a shuffled fan of 22 Major Arcana drawn as cats. The cards are read as past, present and future, each upright or reversed.

  • Q. Is cat tarot free?

    A. Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, payment or app, and one reading takes about a minute in your browser.

  • Q. What does a reversed card mean in cat tarot?

    A. Each card has a 50/50 chance of landing reversed when the deck is shuffled. A reversed card gets its own reading, usually pointing to something blocked, delayed or worth rethinking.

  • Q. Can tarot predict the future?

    A. Tarot here is meant as a mirror for reflecting on your current situation, not a prediction. You can draw again or switch categories whenever you like.
