How about these tests?

Which way of giving and receiving love lights you up the most? The Giggleus Love Language Test has you rate 15 statements on a 5-point scale — three for each of five types: Sweet Words, Quality Time, Thoughtful Gifts, Warm Touch and Caring Actions — and shows your top type with a percentage breakdown. It is an unofficial, for-fun quiz inspired by the five love languages idea from Gary Chapman's book, not the official assessment and not a scientific test. Save your result card and compare with your partner, family or friends.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. How is my love language calculated?

    A. Each of the five types has three statements that you rate from 1 to 5, so every type scores 3–15 points. The type with the highest total is your top type, and the graph shows each type's share of your total score; ties go to the type listed first (Sweet Words, Quality Time, Thoughtful Gifts, Warm Touch, Caring Actions).

  • Q. Is this the official 5 Love Languages quiz?

    A. No. It is an unofficial quiz inspired by the idea Gary Chapman popularized in his 1992 book The Five Love Languages; the questions and type names are our own. Research support for the five-type model is limited, so treat the result as a conversation starter, not a diagnosis.

  • Q. Does it only work for couples?

    A. No. The statements talk about "someone" rather than only a partner, so you can answer with a partner, family member or close friend in mind, then compare your result cards.
