Fruit Crush

Match 3+ fruits to pop juicy combos.

How to Play

  • Tap a fruit, then tap the fruit right next to it (up, down, left or right) to swap them. You can also drag a fruit straight onto its neighbor.
  • A swap only counts if it lines up 3 or more of the same fruit in a row or column. Otherwise the two fruits snap back.
  • Each popped fruit is worth 10 points. Fruits above fall into the gaps, and any new lines they form pop too.
  • Make your next match within 3 seconds to keep the combo alive. Each combo step adds 15% to your points.
  • You get 60 seconds and unlimited moves. Score as much as you can before time runs out!

Fruit Crush is a free 60-second match-3 puzzle you play right in the browser. The board is a 7×7 grid filled with five fruits — apple, orange, grape, pineapple and watermelon — and your goal is to line up three or more of the same fruit in a row or column so they pop.

To move, tap a fruit and then the fruit directly above, below, left or right of it, or drag a fruit onto its neighbor; it works with a mouse or a finger. A swap only goes through if it creates a line of at least three. If it doesn't, the two fruits slide back — there's no penalty, but the clock keeps running. When fruits pop, the ones above drop into the gaps and new fruits fall in from the top. If that refill forms another line, it pops on its own as a cascade.

Scoring is simple: every popped fruit is worth 10 points, so a line of four or five, or an L- or T-shape where two lines cross, is worth more than a plain three. The real multiplier is the combo. Land your next successful swap within 3 seconds and the combo goes up a step; each step adds 15% to the points, so the second quick match scores ×1.15, the third ×1.30, and so on. Pause for more than 3 seconds and it resets. There are no special pieces, boosters, levels or lives — just 60 seconds and as many moves as you can make, so a steady rhythm usually beats hunting for the perfect five-in-a-row.

When time runs out, your score goes to the leaderboard and you can send a challenge link so a friend plays under the same rules. Match-3 puzzles were popularized by games like Bejeweled (2001) and Candy Crush Saga (2012); Fruit Crush is an independent Giggleus game in that genre and is not affiliated with King or Candy Crush.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. How do you play Fruit Crush?

    A. Tap a fruit and then a neighboring one, or drag it onto its neighbor, to swap them. The swap only counts if it lines up three or more of the same fruit horizontally or vertically; otherwise the fruits slide back.

  • Q. How is the score calculated?

    A. Each popped fruit is worth 10 points. If your next successful swap comes within 3 seconds, the combo rises a step and adds 15% per step, so the second quick match scores ×1.15 and the third ×1.30.

  • Q. How long is a round, and is there a move limit?

    A. A round is exactly 60 seconds with no move limit. There are no special pieces, levels or lives; the game ends when the timer hits zero.

  • Q. Is Fruit Crush related to Candy Crush?

    A. No. It is an independent match-3 game made by Giggleus and is not affiliated with King or Candy Crush Saga. It only shares the common match-3 rule.
