Dynamic Visual Acuity Test
Read the number streaking across the screen before it vanishes — it gets faster every round. Score, ranking & challenge a friend.
How to play
- A number flies across the box. Read it while it moves.
- After it passes, type what you saw on the keypad.
- Correct = level up (and faster). 3 misses and it's over.
Just for fun — this is not an eye exam and it doesn't measure your eyesight.

Dynamic visual acuity is the ability to make out detail on something that is moving — the skill a batter uses to read a pitch. This free game turns it into a quick challenge: a number slides across a box from left to right, and once it has passed you type what you saw on the on-screen keypad.
At level 1 the number takes about 2.1 seconds to cross the box; every level after that is 0.15 seconds faster, down to a floor of 0.38 seconds from level 13. Levels 1–3 use two-digit numbers and three-digit numbers start at level 4. A correct answer adds the level number to your score and moves you up; a wrong answer costs one of three lives and you replay the same level with a new number.
Your grade comes from the highest level you clear: Hawk Eye at 12 or more, Sharp at 9, Solid at 6, Warming Up at 3 and Rookie below that. Scores go on a ranking, and you can send your result to a friend as a challenge link. It is a game, not an eye exam — screen size and viewing distance change the result, and it does not measure your eyesight.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How does the dynamic visual acuity test work?
A. A number slides across the box from left to right, and after it passes you type it on the keypad. At level 1 it crosses in about 2.1 seconds, each level is 0.15 seconds faster (0.38 seconds at the fastest), and numbers grow from two to three digits at level 4.
Q. How are the score and grade calculated?
A. Each level you clear adds its level number to your score, so clearing levels 1 to 12 gives 78 points. A miss costs one of three lives. The grade depends on the highest level cleared: 12+ Hawk Eye, 9+ Sharp, 6+ Solid, 3+ Warming Up, otherwise Rookie.
Q. Is this an eye test?
A. No. It is a game for fun and does not measure or diagnose eyesight; screen size, brightness and viewing distance all affect the result. If you notice changes in your vision, see an optometrist or eye doctor.
