Bisect is a one-shot precision mini-game where a random shape appears and your only job is to slice it into two perfectly equal areas with a single straight line. There is no ruler and no guideline — you drag across the shape to set your cut and commit. The instant you release, the line splits the shape, and the difference between the two resulting areas is converted into an accuracy score from 0 to 100%, shown to two decimal places.

The rules are minimal and there is no time limit. Study the shape, find the line that balances its area on both sides, and drag through it. A cut that grazes a thin sliver scores low; a cut that leaves two equal halves scores a perfect split. After you release, the shape is shown divided into two shaded pieces beside the cut line so you can see exactly how lopsided you were, then submit to the global ranking or send a challenge link so a friend faces the identical shape.

This is a test of area estimation — a perceptual skill that's surprisingly hard because the eye is drawn to the longest dimension rather than the true center of mass. Tips: ignore the outline and feel for where the bulk of the area sits, remember the balancing line rarely passes through the visual middle of an irregular shape, and don't overthink it — a confident first read usually beats endless adjusting.
