UTM Builder turns any landing page into a trackable campaign URL for Google Analytics 4. Paste your link, fill in utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign (required), and add utm_term, utm_content or utm_id when needed. Nine presets fill source and medium for Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, KakaoTalk, Naver Blog, newsletters, Google Ads and QR codes. This utm generator validates the URL, keeps existing query strings and #hash fragments, replaces old utm values instead of duplicating them, and normalizes values to lowercase with hyphens so reports don’t split. Copy with one button, reuse your last five links saved in your browser, and review a parameter table. Free, no install or sign-up.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. What are UTM parameters?

    A. They are tags appended to a URL, such as utm_source=instagram and utm_medium=social, that tell analytics tools like GA4 where a visit came from. utm_campaign names the campaign, while utm_term and utm_content separate keywords or ad variants.

  • Q. Will adding UTM tags break my existing URL?

    A. No. Existing query parameters and #hash fragments stay intact; only utm_ values already present in the link are overwritten with your new ones.

  • Q. Where are my recent links stored?

    A. Your last five links are kept only in this browser’s local storage for quick reuse. There is no account, so clearing your browser data removes them.
